n-Butane (R600)
C4H10
n-Butane (R600) is supplied as a liquid under its own vapour pressure in cylinders and in T50 ISO containers for international transport as well as road trailers and rail cars. It is generally used in industrial refrigeration applications including LNG liquefaction. It also has applications as a heat transfer fluid in the geothermal industry.
