Isopentane (R601a) is supplied as a liquid under its own vapour pressure in T11 ISO containers for international transport as well as road trailers and rail cars.
It is a high boiling point hydrocarbon generally used in industrial refrigeration applications including LNG liquefaction. It also has applications as a heat transfer fluid in the geothermal industry.
